Icon Colouring Tutorial 2

I changed the colouring of this icon with Photoshop 7.0. This tutorial may not be compatible with higher/lower versions, sorry! These are not detailed instructions, so if you're new to photoshop and don't know the basics , you might want to try a different tutorial!

First, open up the base (above) of Avril into photoshop, from Conspiracy Icons.

image >> adjustments >> auto colour

ctrl+u >> saturation: 50%

layer >> duplicate layer and set the layer more to "soft light" 70%

shift+ctrl+e

layer >> adjustment layet >> selective colouring
Reds -
C: +100
M: +100
Y: -100
Yellows -
C: +100
M: +100
Y: -38
Cyans -
C: +100
Magenta -
M: -100
Neutrals -
C: +100


Shift+CTRL+e, and you're done :) Well, not quite. Add some details like textures or brushes and it will look complete :)
