Icon Colouring Tutorial 1

to this

I changed the colouring of this icon with Photoshop 7.0. This tutorial may not be compatible with higher/lower versions, sorry! These are not detailed instructions, so if you're new to photoshop and don't know what curves or selective colouring is, you might want to try a different tutorial (or not :])!

Copy and paste the base I used which was from Milleh's site (or your own base) into photoshop.

ctrl+U >> Saturation: +50

layer >> new adjustment layer >> curves RGB: Input - 180 Output - 161

layer >> new fill layer >> solid colour >> #0D114E Set layer to "exclusion"

duplicate the layer with your base and move it to the top and set the layer mode to "overlay" with an opacity of 25%.

layer >> new adjustment layer >> selective colour

C: -100
M: +100
Y: -100
B: 0
Yellows -

Cyans -

Sorry if this tutorial was too hard or I didn't explain it very well. :( Please feel free to tell me if you had any problems, so I can fix the tutorial. :)
